About the Project
Challenges & Solution
This short film is a project inspired by our summer intern, Austin Smock, a cinematography major from Temple University. Austin wanted to learn more about the malting process so he reached out to Mark and got the ball rolling on this artist profile film.
Together, we arrived at the crack of dawn to ensure we saw all of the key steps of the malting process. Unlike a lot of large malting plants, every part of the malting process at Deer Creek is done by hand which is something we appreciate.
